I recently went back to work swinging a hammer and my hands aren't taking it very well. Every time I try to go for a ride my hands go numb. Especially my right hand. Just now I wanted to go for a long ride around the island but figured I better take a feeler ride first and sure enough after 10 minutes my right hand couldn't even feel the throttle any longer. Anyone else have this problem?

Do you wear gloves? I wear light weight deer hide gloves all the time. My hands before would tire quickly but not now. Much more relaxed grip.

Get the Kuryakyn ISP grips and wear light gloves, I used to have the same issue

Gloves help, but I put the Kuryakin End weights on my Iso grips and don't even notice it anymore.

Kuryakyn iso grips with a throttle boss helped me with that. Now all I need is spring to start.

If you ever take the bike down you'll want all the leather you can get, hands are critical.

Try a throttle rocker. Cheap and helps. Allows you to relax your hand on the grip and still keep speed control.

A throttle rocker is the way to go but you might also need to get one of these.

My right hand is on a mouse all day long. I try to walk everyday for an hour and I take these along with me. Its not easy getting old.

For carpal tunnel, I alternate hands with this ball. I just about went in to have the surgery for it. If it was not for the Dyna-Flex, I would have had to have gone under the knife! Who knows what that might have started.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on some Iso grips and a throttle boss. I kinda like the bar end mirrors though and I don't think they will work with the Iso grips. I wonder if the mirrors will offer some vibe damp just by themselves.

I installed the Kuryakyn Iso Grips last night and just got done with 118 mile ride today. What a treat! Problem solved. No numbness whatsoever.

Now if you do ever get more problems, you can add throttle assist or end weights or both. They screw right on end of those grips.

Your not going to believe this!

I was burning some low grade fuel just to see how my bike reacts.
some popping, back fire, and my throttle hand would go numb! go figure

I put it mid grade
It all went away!

I still like the premium grade!

I got a titanium hammer. Much better. My steel Estwing is just for demo work now.
