OK guys, I'm starting this thread up halfway through the project... I'm putting up a website chronicling the build (easier to update & upload higher res pics to), and I'll post the url tonight or tomorrow, when I get it posted up on the web. In the meantime, here's a couple interim pics of the beast, highlighting the latest mod, which was installing a blacked-out LED headlamp in my headlight bucket...

Ya, that's LM's rear fender - can get the light from LM as well - costs about the same as if you got it from chrome glow or custom dynamics.

Thx guys! Got the new headlight mount this am - will install tonight - it will move the light forward 1 1/2", so I can put the HM2 on top of the triple tree, which'll move the light up about 1 1/2 inches. Can't wait!! Of course, I'll post pics when done...

Next up after that: blacking out all the plastics and swappin' the pipes (should be here today! Sweet!). I'll be PM-ing you guys on that one; it'll be a first for me.

Did you black out the bucket yourself cause the black one i see on their site doesn't look the same. The chrome one looks more like it

They had one that was blacked out - I've checked back a couple of times, but haven't seen that one still in stock. I think the chrome one is the same bucket, but shouldn't be too hard to black it out...

Got the forward mount on the light-me likey! Got the Ness pegs on, too. Takin parts in to be painted this weekend; I'll prolly put the pipes on while it's out of order... But, by the time it gets back, I'll have installed LEDs, Cobra Autotune, air cleaner, & pipes...Should be ready by Halloween!! Maybe I could don a Batman costume & be "Bat Outta ****" this year. 8)
