Ok, after reading ALL the comments on running an O2 sensor with the various Cobra fuel systems, I went straight to the horse's mouth, the manufacturer.

It all depends on which Cobra system you're running, some need it, some don't. You can double check by entering the "Manufacture's" part number, not the part number from J&P, Dennis Kirk and so on.

The Cobra Power Pro Black part #92-1770B states in it's brochure that you DO NOT need the O2 sensor which I have found to be true. My 2011 Stryker runs like a champ with it removed, there' no lag and no decel popping at the system's preset factory settings.

I hope this helps a lot of you guys out there struggling with performance issues after installing your Cobra fuel system.

That's good to know. The decel popping drives me nuts. Thanks for the research. I have that set up but unfortunately the bike is stored for the winter and I will have to wait for spring.
