Ok. Sticking my neck out here. I have thick skin. I have raven Stryker with most chrome blacked like most raven owners. My theme is a fireman bike. Have 343 on my scoop grill in silver. Have a fireman helmet leather shield on bike by handlebars for my dad. Thinking about doing my L & M fender powder coat fire truck red. My wife says NO. will not work. All feedback appreciated.

Isn't the fender fiberglass? I don't think you can powdercoat fiberglass. To see how it would look, you should try and find some red vinyl. Shouldn't be too expensive, and cover the fender. Won't look perfect, but it will give you the basic idea, and you can see if you like it.

That would be the only red thing on your bike? I think it won't look right. Like those rice burner cars that buy body kits, but can't afford to paint them. If you add more red in other places it would flow better or add more to the fender to make it more related to a fire truck. Of course that's just my opinion. End of the day, you have to be happy with your bike.

I think the bike would need to be balanced. What I mean by that is; if you paint the front fender, you need to paint/ powder coat the rear and then possibly do red pen stripe on the tank. " just a thought"
Agreed. Adding a little more red would make it look more tied in. However, as others have said, it's your bike and if you want to do it, do it regardless of what anyone else says.

Okay decided to go to local body shop and get it satin black to match parts I painted that were chrome. At least it will tie in with bike.
Perfect Tonto! Great choice!
