Just curious, what is everyone's take on warming up the engine before riding? I usually let mine warm up while I get my stuff together for work and get my gear on (about 2 minutes) but I've read that water cooled, fuel injected engines really don't need a warm up.

with how engines are manufactured today there is no need for a warm up period. About 30 seconds is all that is needed to get the oil everywhere and flowing.

The most important thing is that the oil circulates which only takes a few seconds. By the time you get to the end of your drive you're good to go.

Thanks for the input. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't rushing it. Sounds like I don't need to wait as long as I have been.
