bad form for posting something like this without a warning...god I've seen enough in real life I certainly don't need to go out of my way to view it on film..not sure what motivates some people. Personally don't see that it add's anything to the forum.

Unfortunate for the guy, but serves as a reminder for all of us to not only look out for ourselves, but it is critical for us to pay extra attention to all other drivers as well. Too many of the cagers do not pay any attention, esp with todays; technology,,,texting, calling, programming the GPS unit, etc while driving. It can also be a life saver to try to stay clear of any big rigs...including cab-overs, but esp long noses. Theyhave a really hard time seeing us in front of them. But there is no reason for the driver in the video to not have seen the biker. It was a senseless death....

Ok guys I seriously didn’t anticipate this kind of reaction when I posted it and I certainly would not have if I’d known. I didn’t have this same reaction when it was emailed to me by another rider, but I understand each person feels differently. So I would like to apologize to anyone who anyone who was offended by this posting.

I tried to remove it but I got an error message that said: “you are not allowed to delete the first post in a topic.” If someone tells me how to take it down I will.
BUT I did modify my original post by editing out the video link.

Yeah 11 maybe it was better that you didn’t see it, but it was a video on the internet showing a motorcyclist getting run down from behind, the guy clearly died. Personally I prefer to see how these things happen to be better informed, but most members regret having viewed it. I should have posted a warning & description with that link, my mistake. And thanks for the support Shane.

I’m sure Sdsting there was no intentional malice in posting the video. It’s just something I really wish I didn’t see. It still is upsetting me today. There are individuals who can see a video like this and just say fine or cool. I work in the high schools and I see this every day. Students who play video games that are very violent and think its cool to see and kill people. I believe they have a disconnect from reality when they see a video like this. Lets face it, if this was on a XBOX it would have looked like a video game. I believe the game Death Race allows you to do this exact thing. But knowing it was a traffic camera and knowing this was someone’s son, brother, father that died like this is upsetting. I hope that the love ones of this man never stubble upon this video to see how they died. I don’t want to be disconnected from the human race and not be bothered by something like this. It makes me human.

For those who really want to see this video, just go to any web site that shows people getting killed. There’s enough of them out there.
