So I made an order from Pacific Coast Star on Monday for two items supposedly in stock and still haven't received a confirmation that they have been sent out. It seems odd when I go to see where my order is on the site it directs me to some page going on and on about how they will try and get things out in two days and 90% of their time is spent on the phone about peoples orders. Anyone else have any experience with them?

hahahahaha, yeah, I've placed several orders with them, their communication is awful but just about every time I get the order in a relatively short period of time and a few times I've received a confirmation of the order after I got it already. They are good people and the prices are reasonable, they just don't have a good communication policy.

I agree, good people. They got me what I ordered in a timely manner, but I never received any notice or tracking #. When I called to check the status of my order it had already shipped and was almost to me.

I ordered my hypercharger intake and Cobra powerpro tuner from them. No problem at all. I wouldn't worry about PCS....their reputation is good.

I ordered my lowering kit from them about three weeks ago. They said the kit was in stock, but it took several phone calls from me to actually get the kit shipped! I waited over a week looking at the same redirect page you got. Again, after several phone calls I finally got the kit 3 weeks after ordering, WTF!

I will say, the kit is great and the bike looks awesome now!

Funny this thread came up. I was about to call them today about lowering links I ordered on the 26th. I received an invoice but nothing telling me it was ever shipped. Their policy says they don't charge until its shipped but they charged my card card that day. Hmmmm....

I ordered my Cobra PowrFlo intake on the 24th and I am still waiting. Called last Friday and they said it was shipping that day. It is on the road somewhere. Hope to get it by Thursday so I can have my pipes installed. :-\

I had to call them and of course no answer, so I went through the email us about your order route and amazingly it shipped the next day. Took two weeks, glad I didn't pay the extra for shipping. Unless the deal is outrageous I don't plan on using them again. Slow and No Communication, if I wanted that kind of service I would buy from my dealer...lol

I don't mind ordering from Internet but would rather order from Dealer. I called them about my fairing, mounts, shield and exhaust. He matched everything to the penny. Sure have to pay tax but I think it's worth it. Told me everything should be here by Thurs. We'll see.

I had trouble with them too

Sent my gas-tank on March 7th for a stretch, rust-proofing liner, and pop top gas cap. Also ordered a air kit, pipes, and forward controls.

One month later, I didn't get the air kit and I canceled that order. It took one more month until I got a refund.

As of May 14th, NOTHING was done to the tank. The week before that I asked for a commitment for completion. I was told I couldn't get that commitment and maybe I should just take the tank back. I said sure, then they made me wait for 4 more days until the tank was sent back at my expense.

When I asked if Greg (the guy I seemingly spoke to weekly) if he thought it was ethical after not getting ANYTHING done on my tank, to charge me for shipping. He said "yes, that is ethical". But not before mentioning that he should have sent back the tank COD to avoid my dispute. I didn't intend to dispute the charge, I actually WANT him to live with my $50 and his vision of ethics.

By the way, I bought $1200 worth of other parts and wish I could somehow send that back too.

Almost forgot to mention, they had my seat for almost four weeks, no work completed there either.

Good luck to anyone else trying to do business with Pacific Coast Star
