Thanks......

So just so I'm clear, for the the Raven we'd order this version to match the tank and fenders (which could be used for the chin scoop)
Yamaha 0903 Black Metallic X (SMX)
SKU # : 5245
Vendor : ColorRite
Manufacturer : Yamaha
Manufacturer Code : 0903
I'm thinking if I order the Aerosol Complete Repair Package I should be able to easily paint the LM chin scoop and front fender that I don't have yet. (if that would be enough I don't know??? )

Thats the right base coat but you'll need a clear coat on top. Make sure to get the proper type. If you're shelling out the $$ for the matching base you might as well get they're clear coat as well. That way you can be sure it will work. On the chin scoop you'll will difinitly want to protect it from stone chips

I think the kit would come with paint and clearcoat, wouldn't it?
I suppose to paint the chin scoop and front fender I should think about ordering an extra can of each......thoughts?

It's a good idea to stick this thread. But I guess it should be in technical discussion or mod thread... not in general.

It's funny because I was looking for paint code ... but in those threads ...and stumble on this one today right here in general loll.

Don't bother. I brought my rad cover and front fender in for paint to a auto body shop. $200. Not worth my time and effort to do it myself for that price. Plus I know they're going to do a better job then I ever could.

Wow thats not bad at all for both pieces.

Matched pretty good then I take it? What color do you have?

I got the blue and its got some metallic in it is my only concern.

I'll email some local body shops the pics of the fender and cover and the yamaha color code (#1177 vivid purplish blue cocktail #5, according to that site) and see if they are close to that.
