Don't bother. I brought my rad cover and front fender in for paint to a auto body shop. $200. Not worth my time and effort to do it myself for that price. Plus I know they're going to do a better job then I ever could.
You are correct, bought the touch-up kit because I put a small nick in center of tank when gas cap popped off, Tried to do it myself, read the directions, still turned out like S*&! Even after buffing out. I'll be taking to local bod shop to get it done right. Unless you know what your doing its not worth your time or effort.

Took it to a body shop. He tried to match the paint but it didn't look right so he ended up having to buy the colorite stuff.

Originally quoted me $200 total for both pieces, so that was $100 labor, $100 of his own paint.

But since he had to use colorite paint, the paint total was $260, plus his $100 labor. Ended up giving him $400 even for being so thorough.

He bought 1/2 a pint and had very little left over for touch up.

Also note that after I put installed it, with the bike on the stand leaning over I could see the unpainted surface on the inside of the fender so I used some of the touchup paint to finish that myself.

If the inside was done by him, he wouldn't have had enough to do it all and would need to get another 1/2 pint.

I have a small batwing faring made by Tsukayu for my blue Stryker. Also I have a pair of hard street slim bags that are already a factory match. My question is this: faring needs to be painted to match the Stryker blue, with the graphics to match the tank also painted on the faring and hard bags. Does anyone have an estimate on what you think this would cost me to have a shop do this?

No idea what to expect out of the spray cans
Here's my example of the Duplicolor spray can on my head light. Good stuff, if you know what you're doing!

This is their Aeorosol Complete Repair Package. Base, Clear with wet sanding. The distortion in the reflection is from the cheap metal used to make the headlight bucket.

I have a 2012 Stryker and was looking at the paint codes but do not see one for my bike. I was told by a paint shop that it was Candy Red. Does this sound right? I need a touch up pen for a rock chip on my fuel tank. Thanks for any help.

I seen that but the color looks darker. Maybe its just that away on the computer. I will just have to buy the touch up pen and see. I can't buy anything bigger because they will kill me with hazmat fee.

just found this old post.
I just ordered my Royal Blue colors from Color-Rite to do some touch up. Then I found a half helmet cheep so changed order and got the spay cans.
I just repainted the helmet and it came out a great.
Paint matches perfect.
