So I ordered a can of the frame color (mat black metallic #2) from color rite. I sprayed the gas cap accent piece and the ignition cover, both matched perfectly with the frame and fender stays.

Well, I proceed to paint the speedometer cover and the paint bubbled up and crackled on a few areas on this piece. Not sure what happened on this piece, I prepped it like the other pieces (degreased, sanded with 220 lightly, degreased again, primed, wet sanded with 400, wiped clean and sprayed). Anyway, I've burned through most of the color rite and I'm sure I don't have enough to re-spray.

So, my questions at this point are:
Will the rustoleum metallic black night give me a close enough match to not worry about it, or should I spend the high prices and buy another spray can from color rite?

Last, but not least. What's the best way to remove the paint and start over?

I could use plasti-dip but would like to get the metallic look, so that probably rules that out.

I'm open to suggestion. Thanks guys and gals!

Okay, so I've already answered one of my questions...I read somewhere where you can use pine sol. So I soaked the speedo cover in pine sol and hot water for about an hour and it loosened the paint up enough that everything came off pretty easily with some light scrubbing with a dish washing brush. Didn't affect the chrome finish either. I'm sure it was the ******* way of doing it but it worked out.
