Thinking about buying the Parts Unlimited predator 2-up seat. I was wondering if any one knows if it fits with the short OEM backrest? Any opinions on the seat itself would be appreciated.

The short OEM backrest can only handle a seat that the passenger portion is no wider than 9" as long as it does not travel any further back than the stock seat. I am almost positive that the predator seat is very narrow, if it is the profile series. If so you will have absolutely no problem.

no problem with fit and it's a great seat, does push you forward a bit but nothing like the Mustang, I put this seat on for longer rides now, very cushy and comfy and the misses actually likes the fit

Thanks, bit the bullet and ordered one. It will be another month before riding season here on the prairies. Will be on by then.
