Would like to lower my passenger foot pegs to make it more comfortable for the passenger.
It anything else out there besides the Yamaha Warrior kit?

I put kuryakyn floorboards on the back of mine, kuryakyn makes offset adapters that can mount to pegs or floorboards. I believe they are nujber 4559 or 4558 or 8837 . I used 8837 with a set of baords and my wife is happier with them

I went with Kuryakyn also. 4" Adjustable Offsets 4557 with Dually Pegs 7963. I find them visually "acceptable" because the "passenger" likes them. Pic's are in my Gallery.

There is also a yamaha relocation kit for the warrior that i have seen used on the stryker. The yamaha part number is STR-5PX57-40-00. I haven't tried it though.

I put them on mine for the same reason you stated. Can't attest to the fit with factory pipes, I'm running the cobra slip on. but they did lower and move her feet forward to a more comfortable position. The exhaust side has a nice heel step that she wishes was on the other side as well.

Welcome. Hope it helped you with your decision. Your long legged passenger will be pleased I'm sure. Mine was especially on those trips 4 hours and longer.

You have to remove the heal rest and reweld it to fit on the right side with stock exhaust. Also have to use different bolts than what comes in the Warrior kit.

I completely forgot about having to get different bolts, fastenal has them. I've got pics of them in my garage under peg relocation. ( don't know how to upload direct to a post ). The shoulder on the bolts are 10mm, thread is 8 x 2.5mm if my memory serves me right. Also if you take the original foot peg mounts and reverse sides you can get away from having to drill and grind the now useless peg tabs off. They'll be out of sight, and you'll be able to return to stock if ever need be.

Sorry I should have followed up on this post with some instructions. I have since lost the paper I used to write all the parts needed.

The issues with the heel rest is that is is against a bolt in the suspension that you cannot move. (Sorry if that isn't technically accurate I am working from memory)

If you want to make the right side fit you will need to run to your local hardware store and experiment. I was able to get slightly longer bolts than were required, and some round steel spacers to move the mount outward about 1 inch.

It doesn't look pretty, and next time I do a Cerakote job I intend to refinished the parts. However it works. (Will provide picture ASAP)

Two ways to post use a photo place like Photobucket, tiny pic, take the Url and copy and paste to message (give full size picture). or if it not too large a file you can click the go advanced tab below, under quick reply, then click manage attachments, follow instructions it will resize most photos to fit. (this gives an avatar sized photo which can be clicked on and increase size.

If your using a phone can't help ya. I can call, text, take pics, email surf web that's about my limit!


Anyone know if the kury adjustables are bolt on no adapters or anything?
