Bought a passenger peg relocation kit from Yamaha (made for the Warrior - uses M10x40mm bolts typically). Stryker pegs attach using M8 bolts. Had to purchase some M8x40mm bolts, and used dremel to grind down the bottom of the exhaust guard on the warrior peg kit so it would fit on the Stryker (it sits right on top of the exhaust attachment). This worked great (and would have been fine).
Girlfriend works at a car part manufacturing plant - ordered me some custom bolts (40mm long - [email protected] thick, [email protected] thick). Spot painted the grinding (as well as the bolt heads). Huge difference. Girlfriend VERY pleased - provided a lot more comfort for her. Sorry - didn't take any before/after pics to show the difference - however I would guess it added an extra 5 inches diagonally compared to the stock pegs).
I am not technically inclined, so if I can do it - anyone can, I assure you.
I also spot painted some of the 'chrome-ish' bolts around the backrest area flat black (just to see how it is). Looks much better, I think. May do this with many more (like the windshield as well).

Well, was going to post pics but it won't let me. My files are over 128KB. I know I saw a thread somewhere how to post larger pics, but can't find it!
Checked out 'site help' and FAQ areas - nothing there!

Ok, posted pics to the gallery - but can't figure how to get it on this threat?!
I know I'm sounding stupid here (and maybe I am???) - but I just want to be able to post my pics in the thread I'm submitting posts to :-[

Girlfriend is 5'7" - we're planning some long distance riding this summer, and getting the pegs relocated was important.
Next is to get some footpegs that were made for the Warrior brackets - these Stryker pegs are loose and won't fold up (not that it's that big a deal for me...but the Stryker pegs don't fit well in the Warrior brackets). They'll do for now. I would recommend getting Warrior pegs to fit the bracket at the same time you buy the relocation kit.
Ok - how did you get my pic into this thread... (you're KILLING me here!! LOL!) I feel so tech un-savvy!

Do you think that you could install floorboards into these new brackets or would there not be enough room (ie the board would hit the exhaust when folded down? My wife is trying to decide between this and boards and I was wondering if I can do both.

I bought one but the wife still doesn't like the way she sits on it. I've got another option coming. I'll share when it arrives. So I'll have a relocation set up for sale if anyone is interested.

I was all ready to order this kit until I saw a pic on here of a bike with the Cobra Swepts. The relocation will not work with these pipes by the looks of it. That sucks cause I wanted to do this for the wife but I want those pipes next year. :-\
