I'm well past the point were looks are more important than functionality. After about 50 miles I'm very happy to have my "ugly" seat. And all in all I don't think my bike looks to awful! LOLThe bad part about and comfy seat is that its ugly as sin.
That's what makes buying seats so difficult. To me the stock seat was a torture device! I couldn't get 50 miles without my back hurting and my butt getting numb. the base plate is way to flexible and provides very little support for the seat. Corbins are another one. People either love them or hate them. Very firm and unyielding but I have had a couple and found them to be pretty comfortable as the miles pile up. Unfortunately no one yet make a seat that fits everyone and the sad part is it's so costly to find out you don't like it.Your bike does look great, but I've had that seat and the stocker to me was more comfortable by far.
Amen, bro. My first ride with the wife wasnt good. that mustang seat is great for both of us. :thumb: I commute on my bike 160 miles round trip. That stock seat had to go.I'm well past the point were looks are more important than functionality. After about 50 miles I'm very happy to have my "ugly" seat. Bought that same seat, but unfortunately i have the cobra backrest and the passenger pillion will not work with the cobra backrest. I now have the one piece parts unlimited predator seat with flame stitching . Wife likes it better, but to be honest i still miss the saddlemen i had on another bike. Too bad saddlemen doesnt make one for oursMy wife really likes the Wide Pillion from Parts Unlimited.
Here is a pic... plus there are a couple more in my garage...
