I just got my first cruiser... Love it! But I bought a '12 holdover model that has the Yamaha solo seat. Am I better of to buy a take-off or is there a good option? My kids want to ride with me.

(Not first bike). Thanks

Ask the dealer like Joe said.

The solo seat is Star accessory and it has been added to the asking price. He should also be giving you the factory stock seat as well which is probably in the back unless they gave it or sold it to someone. There are plenty of more comfortable options out there for the passenger but for the occasional passenger on short ride especially for the kids the stock seat should be fine for a while.

Mine was a "window demo"... No miles but had some star accessories. Got a year end holdover type deal and it was priced as it sat. Most that I will ride with a passenger is kids a few miles, my wife rides her own. Hopefully I can find a take off. Thanks guys,

I have a stock 2up seat I would sell you. PM me your address if you are interested and we can work out a price.

Ouch VisualSinz! You just stepped on my noggin! That's OK, I want what's best for the OP and not in any big hurry to sell my stock seat.
