People You Have Met While Out Riding

I ride the Cherohala Skyway a lot and I always stop in Robbinsville NC for lunch. While we were there eating I noticed a guy that looked like Tim Smith from the Moonshiners show. Me not being able to miss an opportunity to meet someone I watch on tv I interrupted his lunch, talked with him for a while and got a photo with him. He was in town for a moonshine festival that was going on. Has anyone else run into someone by surprise.

A couple years ago I was headed down to Bike Week in Daytona, stopped at a Cracker Barrel in St Augustine to eat..while waiting on our food Paul Sr & Vinnie sat at the table behind us. After we got through eating I went over to them and asked if they thought they would ever do a metric build...Sr just looked at me and said "Why would we do that?"........I never did like that show.

Living here in Atlanta and doing lots of charity rides I have met quite a few athletes and B list celebrities, always quite cool to meet somebody and get to know them thru the biker senses, recently while out riding a rental bike in Vegas my buddy and I ran into James "Buster" Douglas, really neat guy and super approachable, spent a good 30 minutes talking to him, met up with him the next day and he signed a glove for my collection

Through the years there have seen many from Tony Dorsett to Will Ferrell... My favorite was Fergy about 4 years ago I met her at the
Fair in Addison. And yes I ride to these places... I dont ride as much as I would like to. I only do about 10k miles a year on the bike.

Used to see a lot of the cowboys at Coach Joes.

This is about people you've met when riding...but I thought I'd throw these in also 1969 met Frank Zappa in Laguana Beach...also ran into John Wayne in Newport Beach CA and use to date one of the dancers on the Dean Martin Show..and got to watch them shoot an episode of Star Trek where I worked...it was the one that the plactic looking barfs were attacking people.....**** I'm getting old.... :'(

Wow, John Wayne is one of my all time heros, would have loved to have met him, I met Clint Anderson once (Cheyenne), he was pretty cool, I rode in a charity ride seer all years ago with Erik Estrada, he was right next to me, nice guy

well guys I'm about to make you feel even older because I don't know most of the people you are talking about. Here is a good one..........the GM of our project here in TN owns a small plane and I went flying with him and when some of the guys found out they started calling me tattoo. Well I went along with it for few days then I did a Google search and I got pissed (only temporary we give each other **** all the time). So this is the first year I have ever heard of tattoo and fantasy island.
