We only have one of these rear rims from Star accessories made by Performance Machine. This is a 8.5" wide wheel that can hold a 240 tire, which gives you a true 240mm width! I think the 250 tire on this rim will not fit underneath the frame unless you modify. The rear wheel retails for $1600 but we will sell it for $1200 shipped within the 48US. We do not have the front rim and we do not have any tires for sale.

Specs say it is a 8" wheel. Not 8.5!!

Did you have to modify the frame? We have a 250 on the stock rim and there's only 3mm clearance on the sides. Only thing we cut was the belt guards.

X2 There's just enough room for a 250, like if you tire was crooked it would hit! Granted it is a Dunlop maybe others would fit? With the 250 it pulls the sidewall in quite a bit if you go with a wider rim it will relax and you'd be too wide by about 1/2-3/4"? The wider rim will make the 240 about the same size as the 250 but with a better profile! You can also drop it better with the 240,just sayin?

Look up to the top of the page, if it fit with the 250, they probably would've put it on?

I really don't know what to say. I mean I have proven to you with the pic that a 260 on an 8.5" rim will fit. But you still want to argue that a 250 won't. Are you talking about a lowered bike? If so that is completely different. If so then yes 240 is the largest you can go without modification. Its not that hard to cut the rear frame though. I plan on installing adjustable air suspension on mine. It will sit hopefully higher than stock when i'm riding. And when I park I can sit it all the way down on the tire.

Thats Cool Christopher. 250 Dunlop is higher profile than a Metzler or Avon. Tire in pic is 260 Metzler. Avon does not make a 260. All tire makers have there own profile. Dunlop is one of the highest profiles and least expensive. Metzler or Avon are the 2 top picks! Raider site has already been thru all this.

There are soo many different tires with different relationships to the actual tire size, who knows I'm not trying to be an ass. I'm not talking about the profile, but rather side to side measurement. Best guess on framerail width without taking the fender off again is 9.5"s if the 260 is smaller than that, cool! Everyone keeps talking about trimming the framerails, there's really not much fat up there to remove. The framerails are boxed so you can cut off the corners but thats about it? When, or if you compress the shock all the way it's gonna hit if you dont have clearance, thats all I'm sayin. I would allways say to check out your own ride untill your confident that your safe, dont take my word for it, just putting it out there.

Thanks Urban, I'm going to get the Avon 250 to go with. keeping my fingers crossed that it will fit!
