It's an on/off setup. A few guys on here have posted about picking their bikes up from a service only to get stuck on the side of the road because the dealership didn't turn the petc0ck back on.The other day I realized that there is a petcock under our gas tank. I didn't try it yet, but does anyone know if it's an on/off or an on/reserve?
LOL Unlikely anyone is ever going to use the phrase pet**** to search the threads.Just dropped by to say its funny that the filter caught the word ****.
Yeah I think the R is for "run". You'll probably only ever use it to get the tank painted or remove it for a more major wiring job but as I write this it might not be a bad idea to flip it on and off occasionally so that when you really need to use it it doesn't leak or the like. It's an on/off setup.
