Hello from the KC metro area,

I just picked up my raven stryker yesterday morning. I followed a brake in procedure that I found somewhere here on the board and then went riding with a friend. He has an 06 vmax and we rode around various places in town yesterday and by the time I got home my new bike had 108 miles on her. This is my first bike and so far I am loving it. I had done some practicing on my friends old yamaha 450 and took the BRC last weekend. The new ride is so awesome compared to those bikes but also a lot different to handle.

congrats bro. the stryker is my first bike as well. and i am loving it. theres tons of stuff you can do to them and if you need help or have anyquestions feel free to ask. also check out the how to section and see how to do certain things like removing parts.

Welcome drhoades and congrats on your first bike. You chose a good one. I think you will like the folks on this forum because they are helpful and friendly. I have learned a lot from them and amazed at some of their work. Ride carefully and have a lot of fun!!!

Welcome to a great forum with alot of sharp cats... As a new rider remember ride in your own comfort zone, have fun, you made the right choice, alot of these guys have done some awesome mods, great pics and don t be afraid to ask advise, thats what its all about.

Got the helmet at Quade in Loma Linda California, I have a friend that does some airbrushing, he is really good, on the back it has a cool skull...... thank you
