So I havn't even received my Styker yet (this week hopefully) and I'm planning a ton of mods. Here's what I'm planning on:
FYI - I got the "Raven" Blacked out version

New black grips (possibly heated) brand/model TBD
Black mirrors - brand/model TBD
All chrome peices to be re-done in black chrome
Drilled exhaust
Backrest or mustang style seat with backrest
240 rear tire - probably go with Avon
Lowering spring
Hypercharger or other nice airbox TBD
Side mount license plate
Clean up rear brake light assemly and turn signals - how TBD
Reflector removal
Black fat fork covers - how TBD
New black chrome headlight bucket with HID conversion
Rad/chin shroud - maybe

Thats for starters ;D

Getting excited! Woohoo!

For the HID conversion, are you doing it yourself or having someone els do it? I was considering it but actually like the amount of light the headlight puts out. Are you adding a projector lense so it truely throws the light or just the HID bulb and ballast for the look? Keep me posted as I am very interested in the outcome

I'll be doing it myself. I have everything but the bucket and the projector housing. Yes I will be using a projector lens. I think the hardest part will be mounting the projector housing inside the new bucket. I found one online this morning already completed for $150. I'll try it myself first. I will post progress reports as well. Stay tuned.

Nate take some pix as you do it, then post it in the "How To" section.

I think the grips look and feel cheap as **** and definetely going to get new ones as soon as they come out with more options
We already replaced Desiree's with some black on black Avons and they look great. Pretty sure you can use just about any grip that fits a 1" bar.
Where did you get yours from? website?
From Amazon. I included the link in my post: black on black Avons

Great price! Had I seen these before I got the Kury ISOs for my Raider I would've probably gone this route.

I tend to really like the amount of chrome, it really accents the bike well. I think the grips look and feel cheap as **** and definetely going to get new ones as soon as they come out with more options
My husband seems to think that grips for a V-star will fit my Stryker. I guess we will find out soon and report back! I want those ISO grips.

I like the front headlight - lots of light with good "throw" as you guys say, but more light is always a good thing!

I got a set of Kury ISO grips for mine a couple of weeks back. My mechanic put them on for me and he said he had to try a couple of different ones as there was a problem with the throttle side being a different size. Make sure you check this out before you but some. The stletto end caps and the new style throttle boss look good on there as well. Doc

I don't see why they wouldn't fit.

I don't remember anything special about the ISO grips for my Raider.

The Avon grips came with two inner pieces that connected to the throttle cables. One was for the Honda VTX and the other was for all other metric bikes. It worked perfectly. The biggest issue I had was getting the old grips off because I forgot the end had a cap on it. It was really hard to tell it wasn't all one piece.

We ended up using the caps to cover the holes left in the fender after removing the passenger pillion.

*** My post from another forum...copied and pasted.. to lazy to retype it out ***

First thing is going to be a fuel processor. I installed one of these on my old quad and it made a HUGE difference in throttle response and preformance. The best thing about the new one coming out, is that it constantly adjusts the fuel to air ratio, whereas before, you would have to download maps from the internet and then load them into your processor. I have called Cobra about this and they said it should it be out by the end of April.

Next is the exhaust. I am very interested in the Cobra Swept (black) exhaust. I know that the bike shown is a Raider the bikes are similar in looks. This will give you and idea..

Finally will be the intake. I am still undecided if I want the Baron Big Air Intake or the Spike from LowandMean.

Barons: http://www.baronscustom.com/catalog/...229/index.html

LowandMean Diego's bike :

Kinda hard to see.

Most of this sh!t is expensive so it is gonna take sometime to get the funds. I will be sure to keep you posted and talk about the results from the installs.

Please if you have some ideas for your Stryker, post them up. I am always interested in others ideas.

Jeremy, I feel your pain. I've got a wish list a mile long and a budget that a couple of feet! LOL
I've already changed my mirrors and pegs. I went with the Kuryakyn Zombie pegs. Installed the short black backrest and removed reflectors. I'm planning on getting exhaust and power commander/FI next. I'm hoping that there will be a fender eliminator/LED turn signal integrator out soon. I wanna show off that back tire!
A chin spoiler and Reaper front fender from Low and Mean are on the list too.
Well, I gotta go buy lottery tickets now! ;D
