Hey everyone! New Stryker owner here...

I want to black out some chrome pieces on the bike - but need some advice. I attached pics of the parts I want to (start with) blacking out. If I drain the oil, can I safely remove/plastidip/paint those pieces? Or is the removal more involved than that?

Same parts I'm looking at doing the same way this weekend. Was gonna look a little more closely this evening.

They are all just plastic covers, you can just take them off no problem.

Those are just covers. Remove them and paint no worries about oil.

Honestly you can Plasti-Dip pretty much any chrome piece on the bike with the exception of those two crankcase covers. Your boots will rub the Plasti-Dip off over time so it's best to just paint those two items so you don't have to redo it.
