There HAS to be some windshields out there...........

I wanted the Memphis Alley Cat but was told no (I hate that word) by my local dealer......no bracket will fit on the Stryker

I do not want that ugly and expensive pregnant yamaha motorcycle windshield

Ive seen the Yamaha Boulevard but that appears as useful as goose crap on the sidewalk.

Please reply back to this thread with a picture to a stryker with a windshield and a link to where you bought it/model #
Getting ready for a 1400 mile ride to Yellowstone and would prefer to get a windshield to go with my full face helmet.

Many thanks 8) 8)

How tall are you Patrice? Does it give good wind protection? I love the look of the Blvd, and wish I hadn't gotten my shield as soon as I got the bike. I have the 17" detachable Stryker shield and it works pretty good for me, but I'm 5' 6". May not work as well for taller person.

I'm about 5'9". I was speaking with Cowboy, who is about my height, and he says it works really well.

Why did you switch?

Where did the wind hit you?
I switched because I liked the look of the batwing better, I could add a three pouch for small stuff, and I wanted to add a stereo system to the fairing.

As for wind, I had it angled so that it was just at the very top of my helmet. I was actually pretty good at keeping the wind/bugs off my face and buffeting of my chest

I've had the Boulevard 11" Stock and now the 15" Rifle. I'm 5'7" and I like the look of the Rifle and it does a better job at 15" of keeping most of the wind off my face. I'm trying to decide what I really want. A bike that looks hot or a functional touring bike. I can actually listen to ear buds in a half helmet and hear the music.

I just don't like the look of the taller clear wind screens. They detract from the looks of the bike imho. And honestly that's one of the reasons I bought the bike. I love the lines. I'm good up too about 70 mph with the 15" Rifle and since I don't like going faster than that anyhow I'm fine with it. I just did a 250 mile short ride on Sunday with my full face helmet and I had no problems by the end of the day. Now only about 80 miles was freeway but in generaly it works fine.

I am 6'5" (long legs, short torso) and just put the 17 inch quick release Yamaha windshield on. The 21" seemed to be too tall. I don't want to be looking through it, just over it.
Time will tell but test ride of 50 miles seemed to be pretty good. No buffeting of helmet.

I have the boulevard screen, and it's great for regular riding. Keeps the wing off my chest and reduces head buffeting really well. Until you get over about 75. Then it seems to go WAY down hill. Mostly my riding is below 70 so I'm happy with the boulevard, but would love the option of being able to swap a taller screen in for when I know i'm on the highway a lot.

Lately i've been making a regular trip (3+ per week) of 80+ miles and all freeway. The boulvard just won't hack it.

I love the low profile look of the boulevard on the stryker. I'm not a big fan of riding with a barn door strapped to my bike.

With that being said, I'm seriously considering a Memphis Shades bullet screen. Or getting new plastic cut for my boulvard mounts that is another 2-3".

$79 for that Rifle windshield. You gotta be kidding ! What is the catch ? Mounting hardware $300?
No mounting hardware included or available. You have to use your Star hardware. That's why they say Rifle Replacement windshields.
