Got some chrome lower fork spikes, but I'm considering blacking them out as most everything else on the bike is black. But I kinda like the look of the chrome spikes. Can't decide, what do you think? ???

*EDIT: Have chrome upper AND lower fork spikes. Should I keep them chrome or black or any combination?

Do'h! This may totally invalidate the existing data. :p

I think they look better in black. The chrome looks out of place with all the plastics painted black.
I am biased though, I am not a fan of chrome. I paid extra to have the chrome removed from my Tundra and replaced with body color trim.

If you want them to get noticed, I would go with chrome. When I see the black, they just blend in. It is up to you - blend or notice. :-\
There's my problem. I go back and forth between blending and noticing. :-\ Lol

I love them chrome !!!
You're the reason why I got these things in the first place! And for that Sir, I thank you! The chrome on yours looks really good, but then again you've got a lot of chrome going on.

I like them black on your bike So they blend otherwise they bring to much attention since everything else is black.
And that's my argument for black.... With all the lack of chrome my bike has, I'm leaning towards blacking them out....

If you keep it chrome then it ties in the top of the tubes and looks plain badass. Is you paint it black then you will barely even know they are there and won't appreciate them. Think of how it will look rolling down the road with that black wheel spinning and the chrome spike. If its black it will all blend in. Trust me. Keep it chrome

I agree Shimbo. I like the chrome, otherwise why have them if they aren't noticed.

Personally I like the chrome. A bit-o-bling don't hurt a thang, and the after market stuff I plan to add is gonna be chrome. BUT, if I had the Raven, then I would probably go dark because of the tank. Either way it's gonna look good!
