Hey guys i just got the cobra swepts put on and a dynojet pc 3. Took it to the dyno and the tech is tellin me that he cannot tune anything up to 3100 rpms. At 3100 you can feel a difference in the power. It feels like having the power band of a 2 stroke dirt bike but he said that the stock computer overrides anything he does before 3100. I dunno if this is a frequent problem or if this guy knows what he is doing. If any one else has had this problem or knows about it please let me know

I haven't seen anyone running a power commander on here yet the ones with fuel management systems are running the cobra which i am running as well. If everything is hooked up correctly then this shouldn't be a problem. I would contact dynojet and see what they say

On the last page of the installation instructions it notes:

"The Dynojet 02 Optimizer controls the closed loop area of the motorcycle. The closed loop area is represented in the highlighted area.
The Optimizer is setup to obtain a target AFR of around 13.6:1. If a different AFR is desired call tech support at 800-992-4993,

DO NOT not alter the values of the PCV map in the closed loop area. DO NOT input target AFR values in the closed loop area if you are using the Auto Tune module."


As you can see the "closed loop" area goes from 0-3000 RPM and 0-20% throttle. This is why the guy could not change anything.

The O2 optimizer is a separate unit (that comes with the PCV) and it plugs inline to the stock O2 sensor. Sounds to me like a mini auto tune for RPMs up to 3000 and 20% throttle. Cool!
