Well for this year anyway. Wednesday around Chicago is supposed to be 59 and sunny 8) so trying to get out before all the Thanksgiving festivities start happening. After that the long range forecast drops and she's going into hibernation. At the same time the lawn mower and snow blower switch spots in the garage which is always a sad day:(

For my first season riding I had a blast. Started late at the end of July and racked up 2700 miles while meeting some new people here. Looking forward to next season and planning some new mods over winter.

For those of you that get to ride all year or close to it, be safe but us mid-westerners still hate you ;)

As long as it's dry, and in Lubbock, TX, that's most of the time, I'll find some time to ride. Some cold temps, but no hibernation here.

Just got home from filling mine up with gas. Next is a little stable, get tires off the concrete floor, hook up the battery tender, hang the drop light from the forks and Cover her up. Its in the 50s here in Jersey today and I'm riding around thinking its not too bad but like BillyD says over the next few days and weeks the temps are going to bottom out. I can only hope for a winter like last year and an early end to hibernation.

I hate your guys weather.
Now, that's a first. :) I would've thought that San Angelo weather would be milder in the winter than Lubbock.

38 degrees - with no wind, and time for my morning jog (not as regular this time of year!)

I probably got my last ride in for the season yesterday. Was 62 in Minnesota Tuesday and the forecast is for 30-40 mph winds bring in cold weather. 27 for a high tomorrow an not above freezing for the next 10 days. Time to get the snowmobile out!!

Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving everyone!!

Heading out now for about 45 minutes. Weather is really nice for TG here in Chicago but sadly the main purpose of the ride is to fill the tank with gas. She goes into hibernation Saturday :'(

19 degrees on Monday morning. It started to snow a little after I got into my office.
The snow was gone by the time I was ready to leave in the evening.

I'll ride as long as there is no ice or snow in my path!

we got a good dusting here yesterday and don't ya know, the State, County, and Town all exercised there Salt Spreaders on the Roads here. Riding season is over now unless Mother Nature goes wacky and throws us some warm weather with a weeks worth of rain to wash the salt off roads. NYS sucks for there Salt!!
