hey guys..first post here..a little back ground. I am an active member at the rswarrior site. same user name. myself and a couple other fellas were chatting and came across an idea and i did some research that led me here. You guys have a stock 31t and seems a popular mod is to go to the 30t roadstar1300 pulley. us warrior guys come stock with 32t and do the same with a barons 31t pulley. my question is, and i have done some lurking here and havent found an answer is...would your stock 31t pulley fit our warriors? the barons are a bit pricey and some of us do the naked front pulley mod and if your stock pulley fits, it would be ideal for some to*purchase*and utilize the stryker pulley. i have found the raider pulley will not work, 17 splines vs 13. looks like yours is a 13. also looks (via parts fische) the middle shaft collar is the same size (30mm) which leads to this. can anyone get me some technical data, such as belt pitch, ours is 14mm x 1 1/8 wide. also is the pully symetrical across the vertical centerline, and what is the width of the hub where it mates to the shaft. this is some outside of the box thinking on our behalf, and info would be greatly appreciated. I live in the Pittsburgh, pa area, if anyone near me has one i would love to take some measurements, or if anyone is willing to trust me to ship me one..i would be willing to pay and then return the pulley for a refund minus enough for some beers for the help. i currently have the barons 31t, so i dont "need" a pully per say, but if i need to make an outright purchase i may be willing. any help here would be awesome. I am not the technical guy behind these questions, i have another rswarrior member helping me along. Thanks for the time and happy riding!!oh.. a link to some pics of a warrior middle shaft and pulley!*http://www.flickr.com/photos/1507151...7602601838714/***

OK, update here- I sent my stock front pulley to Parkinglot and he in turn sent it to a friend to do some comparisons with the Warrior pulley. We found same shaft size and number of teeth, but hub was wider and needed to be machined on both sides to work on Warrior. Pulley was sent back to me and as I was warned- Pulley is hardened Forged steel! My first attempt at cutting it in my Valve seat cutting machine did not produce any results. Pulley wanted to "walk". So I took to a nearby Metal machine shop and they thought maybe they would try to grind it- Nope, same problem devising a way to hold it. So this morning, I went to my shop and was determined to get it somehow. Made a pilot and better way to hold pulley still. It Worked!- I had to take multiple passes and sharpen Carbide bit many times, but finally got it.
