I've been looking at grips for about 4 weeks now and have been reading reviews on various forums regarding each type or brand. All I see are a ton of threads that talk about the modifications needed for proper fitment.

I like the looks of some of the Pacific Coast Custom grips, but I'm really looking for a smaller diameter type grip that looks good, is comfortable and doesn't require a lot of modifying to work properly. I have the 2011 raven so I'd like to stick to the blacked out look.

Any suggestions, tips, personal experiences or warnings are greatly appreciated..

I have Kuryackyn ISO Grips, thats one of the first thing I do to my bike when I buy. There comfortable and i get no vibration, and you can get them in all black.
I do the same, I even bought them as soon as I bought the Stryker and before shipping it to Egypt

Thanks for your response, I really appreciate it. I had some Kuryakyan Grips on my last bike and I wasn't too happy with them. They felt real bulky. Even my friend who now owns the bike complains about them. How's the fit on the Stryker? Do you have to make any modifications?

No mods at all, they went on with ease. super glue the glutch side with that glue they provide and slip your cables on the right and that was it.

I just put the Kuryakyn Transformer grips on mine. Had some issues with the install, but that was because of dried up tube of glue. Did have to put the spacers in the end of the clutch side. Not hard to do. Now they are "bulky", But that is how they are designed, larger diameter. I have seen that they don't suggest them if you have smaller hands. I can see that. They are comfortable for me though, I like them, and more so every ride.
