Hi guys,

I went thru the post but was not able to find an answer on this.

With the Kuryakyn Scythe Mirror (Model 1760) do I need an adaptor for the Stryker? It is not really clear on the part site. this is the mirror...

http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/1460/Scythe-Mirror

thanks!

yes, you need an adaptor and Lock Tite, the cheap little set screw will not hold the mirror in place, I was running about 75 and both mine flipped towards me, invest in the Lock Tite and save yourself the hassle

Thanks StrykerShane,

so with the Lock Tite, do you like the mirrors so far?

yes, I love them but I'm entertaining a set of bar end mirrors from Joker machine right now, I'll be putting a fairing on in the next week or so and I want to see how they look with it but I'm leaning towards the bar end mirrors, more than anything just to be different

Let me know if you want to sell those, I would be interested. Do not forget to post picture of the new setup ;)

Says they come with mounting hardware.

Dare to slice through the wind with the finest example of cutting edge mirrors. The Scythe & Scythe II Mirrors feature a Rambo Knife shaped mirror head that provides a sleek streamlined profile with smooth operating swivels for easy adjustment. The original Scythe mirror comes with a classic blade stem and the Scythe II has a lower profile smooth stem. All mounting hardware included

they do but you need metric adaptors
OH..........but when you order for Stryker they "should" come with what you need.
Yeah I know it is not really clear. But I finally found that the hardware could be the part #1413 ...I just wanted to confirm here with someone who installed those.
