Question for experienced riders

I test rode a Stryker today and loved it. I do have a question, though. I haven't ridden since I was a teenager (I'm 50 now) and I've never ridden anything like a Stryker. While I didn't have much trouble handling the bike I did notice that the driveline seemed rough with vibration. Is that just typical of a belt driven motorcycle? Is this what's referred to as driveline lash? I apologize for my ignorance but I'm really curious if this is how the bike is supposed to feel. I appreciate any feedback.

Keep the revs mid range. This bike likes to lug a little when you are in 5th gear and get below 50 to 55 mph. She wants to go! The aftermarket fuel processors will remedy this. Mine I can lug down to 45 now in 5th and still get on it without the accel vibration. in 30 mph town traffic 2nd gear is needed- with processor you can be in third without chugging. You will get used to this bike very quickly. Engine revs to near 6600 rpm. This was my first cruiser also and I am 51.
