I spent $15 on the 12" long bit but really don't think the one more hole in the center made much difference than the already 8 1/2" holes in each baffle. I only went though the first plate in the center not all the way through. In comparison to sound it wasn't much louder than the 4 hole configuration that Straightjacket has if I remember right. We road together a few months ago. You might ask him he might remember. Here is a pic if you haven't seen them yet.

Want a really good sound do 8 1/2 holes in the exhaust then use a 1" hole saw with an extension and take out the center pipe.

You can also take out the hole back plate and the the actual tail pipe floating (that's the way mine is)

then remove the baffles I'm making a vid with all the different sounds.

This will be my next mod - I'll wait to hear the different sounds before I make a desision on what exactly to do.

One person on here said that you get a tinny sound, I have drilled 8 holes in each pipe and I did get the metalic sound but you only notice it if you just sit there and rev it when the rpm's drop you may notice it a little but so far I'm loveing it. :)

I never heard the tinty sound. I went from 4 1/2" to 8 1/2" and a 1/2" in the center right away and it sounded fin to me.

It's just a 1/2 of a sec is all and only if you rev it it's not bad at all just another posted he heard it also dohen went and bought cobras right away. Maybe with center drilled out it drowns out the "tin" sound
