I bought the quick release back rest thinking that I would remove it when I didn't have a passenger. Well needless to say it never comes off and I wasted a $100 bucks. I recommend to get the fixed one and spend the extra 5-10 minutes to remove it.

Just thought that I would give ya some feedback and hopefyully save you some cash.

I'm assuming the one in stock may be the tall one?

No, but they have an awesome list and brake down of OEM parts. That's what I normally use them for.

I recommend that pad as well (from mustand seat) instead of the yamaha one.

It fits bolt-on on the stock back-rest ... and it is REALLY comfortable.
