I recently installed the Low and Mean tailight mod. After installation there were 4 LED lights that did not work. I sent a message to L&M and they sent me a replacement light strip. However, the strip needs to be bent. Need advise.

1. What is the best way to remove the current strip without destroying it, so I can send it back to them?
2. Can the new light strip be heated slightly to make it more plyable for bending? I don't want to damage any LED's and be in the same position I am now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am also adding a different license plate holder with additional LED's from Radianz. Do you think there will be any issues with pulling too many amps?

Here is the plate. http://www.bikerhiway.com/radiantz-...urce=froogle&gclid=CJyqi5HA0a8CFcHJKgodIDcIHw

The amps question is that its not a problem...low draw so no worries.

Yes you can use a heat gun to make the strip plyable, your not going to damage the led itself with heat unless you go a bit overboard. Just take your time, use the heat where its needed and just keep a good distance from the gun...that should get you what you want.

Well we ordered the mod kit with the extra LED lights. After ordering they said the extra LED's were on backorder and they should have them soon. Well after about 1 month they still didn't have them. I was then a little upset and told them to send without the extra LED's. After a week they told me they still had to wait until the extra LED's came in since that is how it was ordered. So I figured if I had to wait anyway I might as well get them. Needless to say we got it delivered 7 weeks from my order date. And to top it off, we didn't use the extra LED's because we weren't sure they would stay of the side of the license plate frame securely. I have just received the new replacement strip and I ordered the Radiantz license plate frame so I had built in extra turn signals and brake lights. I think it will look great, but such a long wait. Oh, and I will have the plate frame this Tuesday. Just got to do the re-wiring and put on the new strip of LED's :-\.
