Hey guys 1st post here - new stryker owner and all I have to say is WOW. It is definitely my new love.

I bought a used '11 and it came with a Midnight engine guard that I would like to keep in place. I also want to get a radiator cover to clean up the front of the bike. I love the Low and Mean Chin radiator cover but It doesn't look like it will fit with an engine guard.

Any ideas other than hacking at the engine guard to make room?

As far as I no they removed the bar going across completely welcome to the forum from bama.

& what goose said.. they just cut the bar going across....with no loss of support.

I forget who did it but the chin scoop was notched out the painted. Leaving the the engine guard alone. I have the midnight guards and the chin scoop. I cut the bar going across. Still plenty strong. I know from Experience. Got cut off a few weeks ago and dropped the bike. No tin hit the ground.

I cut mine and they still hold up great without the center beam

Finished Work!

I got around to installing the darn thing. First let me say: it was super easy and came out looking great!!

I cut the cross bar off of the engine guard. Glued the honey comb screen to the cover. Removed the stock radiator cover and screwed in the Low and Mean Chin radiator cover. Total install time : >30 mins.
