Ok sitting here looking at the bike and trying to brain storm what to do with the radiator. Can't afford L&M scoop and really don't like the cobra cover, you all have any in expensive ideas or done anything to dress it up?

I've been thinking about this too.

My idea is to use expanded metal with the screen effect. Then make a border out of flat steel.

Jan on this forum was an early adopter of the irate covers. I believe she mentioned having to drill or modify a couple holes to fit the Stryker, but that was it.

Has anyone considered using one of these covers with a L&M chin scoop? I was thinking that if I wait for the group buy and pick up the chin scoop and could use one of these instead of the honeycomb screen. The cost would only be about $50 more and it would give a lot more really cool looks.

I would recommend ordering the chin scoop but dont cut any corners. Order it with the Honey Comb and have it painted all at once. It does come with price. I have other things I want to do my bike first so I ordered the Chrome Radiator cover from PCS but BELIEVE me! I will order that chin scoop just the way I said in about 6 months.
