Hey guys so I road my friends raider yest and I went to the dealer to see how much would it cost me to trade my Stryker in and get a 2010 raider that they have left over...I'm very confused...the raider has power but the Stryker looks SEXY!!

I know I have my own opinion but I would like to hear some of yours...
Is it worth the money?

Thank you guys!!

Well you got it. The old adage " People with small penis's compensate by buying bigger bikes, bigger, faster cars. etc. ;)
hehehehehehe ... I showed this to my wife ... she laughed ;D

I'm hoping because she's not agreeing :-X lol
Mavros, if you buy a Raider, can we get to call you a defector ? OK, just kidding.

P.S. Toby, if you can score me some mushrooms, I might ride out to Californication to get them.

Although I live in a area where stuff like that might be plentiful I not only do not run in those circles, I am too busy being a goat farmer to even try. Don't need it, have no desire to be around it or have it anywhere in my life. Mike's Hard Lemonade is about as good as it gets here for me lol But you are welcome to come to the ranch and kick cow turds around and you might find mushrooms. ;D
I met Roadkill ( he rides a Raider) for our ride to Daytona for bike week, and on the way down we had the chance to get on em a bit. I think even Rodekill was suprised that my Stryker gave his Raider a run for its money. While in Daytona we where sittin at the bottom of a bridge at a stop light, up next to pulls a Screaming Eagle Harley 110 ci. We both look over at each other and I got the feeling he wanted to see what the Stryker was made of. Well we both take off and it was neck and neck all the way to the top of the bridge. Needless to say at the next red light he and his buddy pulled up to me and said "what the f--k is that, it's quick as a mother f---er. I smiled and said, why its a Yamaha Stryker Sir. His reply was **** that thing will run...

Ben

edited my previous post to Roadkill as per Deja...

Ben
Glad you fixed it cause that might have confused Rodekill....whether you have a Stryker or a Raider you can't go wrong...both are great bikes....and yes the Stryker will haul ass
+ 1 on what Roadkill said. Stryker or Raider you can't go wrong either way...I ride with guys that have everything from Harleys, Bigdogs, Iron Horses, to Hondas and let me tell you that the Stryker will hold it's own with any crusier on the market...

Ben
What Ben said, in more ways than one.
Just wanna say thanks to everyone for replying back to me and saying how good the Stryker is!!
I've decided to keep it and not go with the raider!!

P.S. love bens story!!!

Thank you all!! :)
Hey Ben, is your stryker stock? Great story, I was weondering how our bikes would stack up against that screaming orange crate!
My bike is stock except for a Cobra slip on.

Not sure what you mean by screaming orange crate... ???

Ben
I was referring to the HD Screamin Eagle. I have seen them only in orage paint
Really glad mavros brought up this topic because I too was pondering. ??? I do love my stryker but maybe thought I pulled the trigger to soon, but after all the complements from all different types of riders makes me really think maybe I made the right decision. She is comfy, sexy, and gets me away from the INSANITY of everyday life-----THE AWESOME CATS ON THIS FORUM HELPS TOO ;) ;D 8) Toby you definately crack me up. I'd kick back some Mikes with ya ;) Ride safe everyone. Weather is finally changing for the better.
stryker all the way !!!!
Just want to say that I loved the stryker, has looks, handling sporty and good amount of power, liquid cooled, little hard clunk while shifting.. The raider "s" has some significant mechanical upgrades like, hydraulics no cables, push rod engine w/ more pop to the engine. Double disc brakes, smoother shifting. Less maintenance on engine. Larger forks, Smoother ride. More comfortable passenger seat. I made the decision to trade up to the raider, more cost but I'm enjoying the ride and happy with the decision..
