Hi, Don't own a Stryker yet but want to add one to go along with my 2012 Raider. Won't be for a while but hope you don't mind me hanging out while I learn all I can about the best mid sized cruiser made. From the first one I saw I knew I wanted one but finances make that an impossibility for the near future. I reside in Yuma, AZ, lucky in the respect that I get to ride year round, unlucky in that the summer riding is as brutal as brutal can get.

Welcome from Chicago.

I just have to say you will love the Stryker when you get it. I actually have mine at the painter getting a custom paint job, so I borrow a friends Raider yesterday to ride. This was my first time riding a Raider or any bike larger than a 1300, other than taking my hubbys Roadliner around the neighbor. But I can honestly say I like the Stryker much better. I am 5'10" but felt like I was leaning forward on the Raider and my arms felt like they were more straight with very little bend at the elbows.

I am 6' 3" and I have to agree with you, I felt I was reaching for the grips, that's why I put custom bars with 13" pullback and forward controls on for more reach with the legs. It now is perfect... ;D
