I wanted to find a way to mount my iPhone to my bike so I can use the navigation on the long trips. After some searching (and some horrible reviews about the CellBuckle) I picked up the RAM mount made for motorcycles (with the shorter arm so it wouldn't stick out as much) for just under $50 shipped.

Install took less than 5 minutes and holds the phone securely and I mean, pot holes at 85 held this thing in. It's mostly metal with rubber lined joints. There's the plastic base that holds the phone with a 1" rubber ball that goes into the socket of the arm. Then there's the other side of the arm with another ball and socket joint that attaches to the handlebars with a c-clamp. Positioning is easily adjustable. Unscrew the knob and you can remove the base/arm for storage. The clamp/ball remain. Sure the ball and clamp is kinda ugly, but it's unobstructive and it's not terribly noticeable. This is one exception for me where practicality will win over aesthetics. Your opinion may vary.
Used with the bluetooth for music/navigation/phone, this is a pretty awesome setup for anyone who's interested.
Here's a video of me sticking my camera in my helmet. The music is playing from the iPhone bluetooth and the navigation starts in. Sound is crisp and clear up to 85mph.
