hello, I was doing a general fluid check this weekend. And noticed that the anti-freeze level was at the low mark. Manual says should be between low and high. The bike was cold, so nothing floating around. I guess I need to add, but does it take regular antifreeze? Thanks, John

I respectfully disagree with joemv2011. The point of the max and min is for the temp of the engine. If the engine's cold, it should be at or just above the minimum line. If it's hot, it should be at or close to the max line. Just remember to be careful about adding cold or cool coolant if the engine is really hot. You don't want to crack your engine. Best if you want to check it hot would probably to give it about 30 minutes before you add if you need to. I do agree with skwerlee though, I'd check and see what the factory uses unless you plan tom flush out the system and refill, but that's ultimately up to you. Again, no disrespect towards joemc2011, just a different my pov.
