Re: front tire issue
Hi. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue: Replaced my front tire with a new stock tire.. well, almost as soon as it was put on from the dealer, I had a bumpy front end. Took it back and they said the tire was not round. Ok, I had them replace the front tire with a Metzler (at their cost), and lo and behold, same issue.... so I went back and they could not figure out what was wrong, so took it to a different dealer, and they said.... wait for it........my tire was not round. Grrrrrr.... called the first dealer that could not figure it out and told them. So now I am waiting on a different Metzler (their penny too) and hope this takes care of the issue!!!! And yes, both places checked the rim, and it is perfect. no dents, dings, etc. They called Yamaha and reported the issue, to which Yamaha told them (according to them) "it is the nature of the beast". Yes, I feel the road through my bike, but this is different. I have put over 10k miles on Spitfire, I know my bike!!!
