Can the OEM taillight/break light blinker and licenses plate be broken down? I am considering installing a blaster X integrated tail/break/blinker. If I do this I would want to mount the license plate on the side and I would have no need for the OEM blinkers. The light says that it is a direct replacement for the OEM light

And before the search nazis start duck stepping all over me I did search a little but this forum has grown so much it's becoming harder and harder to find exactly what your looking for.

If you want to be patient for a day, I am installing the blaster X tommorrow on my bike. Will let you know if it is a true plug and play as it advertised, or not. :)

@ Wyntress that would be great. Did you get any extras with you kit? I mean to stop the fast blinking.
Honestly, no, by my figuring, the fast blinking may just be what someone needs to see in order not to rear end me. But I will not trust it completely, lol.

Actually here in Virginia beach, we have a lot of motorcyclist that do after market lights. Knowing its the largest naval base you can imagine how much bikes run around here. I spoke to a lot of the riders here about that (fast blinking) why they didn't set it up to a normal steady blink. There response was to be seen. With fast blinkers you'll be notice by far. I asked about officers stopping you for rapid blinking indicating you have a light out. They said officers won't stop you or they will never stop you whether on the base or on the street. Even where we're stationed at. Cause for inspection you don't need turn signals. There just there for safety. I even spoke with a couple buddies of mine. 1 being a detective and the other a plain officer. They both have rapid blinkers on there bike and they even said the same thing. 1 even said, to alert people all around you as much as possible cause these stupid Virginia drivers will run you the f**k over.

Yes the x-blaster has oem plugs. I used this item to slow the blinking down Show Chrome Accessories Quad Load Equalizer but that was because I also add the Yamaha passing lights which are also led blinkers.

Hey Voltage, yes, the Custom LED Blaster X is indeed a plug and play. Easy to install, but mine did not come quite as flush with the fender as I wanted, but it is ok. Also very bright as well. The pic I have with it on is just the running light. Not the brake light.

Thats awesome. Thanks Wyntress. This is a mod that is on my to do list. Maybe a tax refund gift to me. I'll have to see. I'm waiting for the L&M group buy for the chin scoop. I don't want to miss out on that.
