What exactly is this used for, I am going to be ordering me one when i get my solo seat and would like to know what its actually meant to do other than look good. I thought maybe it was a luggage kinda thing but can't find anything on this other than pictures of peoples installs, even after a good search came up with nothing.

It can actually be used for luggage, I carry a Kuryakyn grand tour bag and it sits up there very nicely

Gotcha, didn't know for sure....searched through an ass load of different terms and couldn't come up with any defiant answer on what it was for other than to fill up the fender gap from the solo seat. Hoping tejas will throw another black one up for sale on eBay decently priced....if not I'll settle on the chrome one i suppose.

You really can't beat that price, it's what there worth. At full pop there just rediculus, dont know what Yami was thinking? It's a good quality piece, nothing special, but does the job.

Did you make the bad ass grab bar on your bike? Just seen on eBay there selling chrome version for for over $300.

Straight, you have got to change out those awful looking machine bolts and swap them out for black hex bolts and rubber washers to protect the fender. When I got my black fender, I ripped the fender from the packaging and tossed the bolts still sealed in the package in the trash. LoL
