I have been hunting around for a few days now and have found a good thread for cleaning up the rear fender. However I'm wanting to drop off the turn signals as well. I have been unable to find a detailed discussion on how to do this.

This is the original post I found. http://www.yamahastarstryker.com/index.php/topic,672.msg8821.html#msg8821

Just need some final information to finish it up. Thanks.

it really depends upon what look you want, many members have used a kawasaki or yamaha integrated tail light and many have ordered the Low and Mean tail light, really just have to decide what look you want, I have the Low and mean tail light and love it although my wife worries because it doesn't have a ton of light

I actually ordered the custom LED , it comes in today. It's integrated so I was just wondering on the process for eliminating the signals. It there just 2 holes left on the sides?

I knocked it out last night after work, it was not bad with a little bit of planning and this site. I did it a little different though, I didin't have the means to cut the metal plate neatly. So I just cut the plastic down to the end of the plate so it was flush with a jigsaw. Drilled two holes in the plastic mount for the reflector so I could mount the plate holder. I cut the plate holder flush with the width of the plate. So in the end the plate sits up where the rear lighting was mounted and everything is flush with the plate dimensions. cleaned up about 4-5 inches. I have a picture I took with my phone of mine next to a stock set up. Sadly I dont own a camera, so no detailed pictures.

Thanks to Natedog on his turn signal relay how-to and Xavier on his detailed process.

I'll put up my picture soon.
