Looking for a spacer or something..for the rear strut covers on the rear fender..I took my covers off,and the screws don't fit snug against the fender.. Any ideas

I took my struts off the finder as well. I went to Lowes and bought shorter 8mm countersunk screws (if I remember right) and painted the heads black.

What rear fender is that? It looks great but doesn't look like the L&M fender....? Maybe it's the way the lights are reflecting off it, or did you custom trim your stock fender? I dig your strut cover removal mod, but since I'm using a backrest, it wouldn't look right I don't think.... 
I love my black Cobra pipes,..... but your V&H pipes look awesome, plus I really dig how your rear axle nut is still accessible without having to remove any part of your exhaust.

Thanks. It's the stock finder bobbed. The V&H pipes heat shields are not on right now. There getting thermal coated black.Skematik said:What rear fender is that? Sander see if you can get someone to do some welding and make that fender smooth.....that would clean it up nice....

When I strip the whole bike this winter for flat black repaint i'm gonna have a buddy weld it up nice and blend the whole thing together with some bondo then repaint. It would have look perfact if I diddn't cut so much off the first time. Live and learn I suppose.dejablu110 said:
