Anybody have any ideas on what to do give the rear swingarm a better look? Right now it looks like crap (kinda like a black 2x4) I wonder if a swingarm from a Raider or a Vstar 1300 would fit, they both have a much more sculpted look

I agree , however that would be big money to change, L&M is comming out with some rear leds that would help a little.

I'm not a big fan of adding lights to bike, but I love the sculpted look of the raider swingarm. Even something to cover the end of the tensioner bolts would be a big improvement

lights are always a good option but if you dont like that why not try pin striping or getting it air brushed?

the reason for the lights is easy access to the axle and belt
tensioners. I cut an access hole in the covers and covered
the hole with the light. Take the light off and theres the
adjusters.....rather than taking the whole cover off.

those are actually alluminum, but I have seen some make that
kind of thing out of plastic too.

if you look at the low and mean strykers, both have some sort of pointed cover or end cap, that is more or less what I am looking for

I really like what you did with your swing arm, and making your bike more visible at night is a bonus. Can you tell me more about where you bought the parts and maybe send a photo of of your entire bike. I am trying to get a little better idea of relative proportion.

That was also a Raider and not a Stryker.

Somewhere in this forum is a post of some chrome covers that dress up the 2X4's pretty nicely.
I think the parts are off a Raider or the 1300 deluxe???
Someone will chime in with a link I hope.

Yes it has already been done by a few on here. Come AR! You're slipping my dear friend!!:madgrin: Vstar 1300 shares similar enough swing arm as the Stryker.
