Just curious to see why folks are modding their Strykers. I see that many are changing everything on their rides. I actually think the bike looks great stock...except for maybe the exhaust.

I agree the stryker is a nice looking bike stock and most will probably agree since they purchased this beautiful machine. For me the whole point of modding is to make it my own and not look just like every other stryker that I will meet on the street. Also the mods have made the bike look alot more sleeker and better looking in my opinion which is the only opinion that matters when it comes to my ride... 8)

Why NOT mod, Modding can change anything from power delivery to seating position. Cruisers are not a one size fits all bike, thats why there is such a huge aftermarket for them. I think most people who buy this type of bike consider it a blank slate, in need of some 'color'.

Several different reasons, I like faster, different, my own, tinkering. It's just fun to learn new stuff. I don't have much time so I haven't changed a great deal, and it's stuff I can buy and add on, but I like doing it.

I fell in love with the overall stance and look of the bike after seeing a picture of it online. Except for that ugly exhaust lol.
A few days after making my purchase I stumbled onto this site and saw the black L&M bike for the first time, which I still think looks wicked as ****.
Went with their fenders and scoop, and am filling in the rest with other items I like more, or that are more within reach of my wallet.
I'm hoping for a custom chopper look without the outrageous $.

Well I couldn't simply answer the poll with a single answer as I agree with most of the answers with the exception of the "everyone's doing it" one. Additionally, I feel that modding is an addiction, and get nearly "out of control" at times...... I mod nearly everything I touch.... Every vehicle that I've eve had has always undergone the same level of mod attention that I've been giving my Stryker thus far, every computer, cell phone, ATVs, my houses, my tools I use for work in dental laboratories,... And where applicable, I always consider modding potential with anything I buy.....
Alright,..... Now I'm starting to feel like I need to join a "modders anonymous" group or something. LMAO!

"No guys.... Really, I could stop any time if I wanted to, I just don't want to!" Suuuuure riiiiight.......

LMAO!!!!! ;D
