Hey everyone,

Wife and I are considering moving to East TN (near Johnson city), and we are currently doing the job hunt. I was wondering, if anyone had a reason to not move to TN? (**** if anyone lives near that area, and needs another employee that would be a bonus...)

I'm from IL, so ... a scenic state with actual outdoor things to do is what we are after.

Hydo - IL has to be worse. I wish we could separate IL into North and South IL, so we can get away from Chicago.

Anywho, I'm thinking around February we will be putting in for jobs near eastern TN. Hoping 4+ years of IT work, and my wifes manager/CS skills can find some jobs.

This is kind of side tracking and i don't want to take over the thread but i live in the hudson valley area of NY i'am about 1-1/2 from manhattan so day trips are very doable. i have a lot of beautiful places to ride around i am 1 hour away from CT and 15 minutes for PA also but every time i go some where and they ask where i am from i say NY and they automatically think NYC. Really people NYS has a lot more than the city you got catskills, adirondacks, finger lakes, and we got that big leaking faucet thing in niagara.

Ol Al doesn't show up much in the state anymore, haha! I'll try to post a pic I took over my truck before leaving on my bike for work today- downhill I have a trout stream, and I'm surrounded by the Cherokee Nat'l Forest... Loving my new place, and I'm getting used to the gravel drive now, Patrice!

I have several clients in the Chattanooga area, travel up quite often, east TN is nice but kind of desolate, I love the Chattanooga area, check it out

Next time you come up, holler! Always nice to meet other Stryker riders, and it seems like there aren't many close by me. Though I wouldn't call my area desolate, you do tend to have elbow room up here :) and my area is much prettier than the Chattanooga area- lots of nice curves and hills!

Exactly, none of that sleeping on the floor. Get some extra rooms for visitors.
It's all about the price, and jobs we can find. I was wanting to down grade, but wife decides we need bigger....

Beth - you are a good sales person, because that was beautiful.
