Everyone I want to plan a ride in Central IL! I have never done a ride before. but I do have three stops I am for sure wanting to go to. This should be a fun ride haven’t really mapped out the route yet but I will sometime soon. Just now trying to get some dates figured out when you could all go starting in Effingham IL were 57 and 70 meet! There are plenty of hotels here if you would want to stay!

Let me know where you are riding, I may meet up along the route. I am in the south western suburbs of Chicago. I was actually looking at doing a meet up in central Illinois. Hoping to get some people together like I did last year at the Titled Kilt in Elgin.brownd86 said:

Most definitely, we can do a BBQ at your place. But what are you going to do if 10-15 bikes show up at your place? lol ;D Your neighbors might call the police. Hahaha!Nogard said:

2nd that. If we get 15 bikes at Nogard's we ought to do a pig roast and really scare his neighbors ;DNogard said:
I also have a pool so once it gets warmer we can ride, cool off, eat and then the ride home. Easy packing as swimsuits take up almost no room! Be cool to see a number of bikes parked in front of the house. Mine gets lonely all by herself

We had great turnout last year. Hope to do many more meetups and rides this year.
Billy - relaxing in the pool will definitely be on the agenda on those really hot days after a long ride.

Right now I'm thinking Patrice is like "Wow do I have anything that would go good with my new purple bike???" OK, maybe not
Besides that Champaign sounds good. Depending on when we start or how my "fun" we want to have it might be an overnight for me Any motels close to you...
And other rides sound great. I have to get Amanda talking to my wife so she'll ride more often. Went out like twice last year and she's still tentative. I can't blame her since I sure as **** wasn't comfortable after my first 2 rides and I was driving

Then you must join us for some rides this coming season. We can always plan to meet up half way somewhere. Last year we had 11 Strykers meet up last year at the Tilted Kilt in Elgin, IL. It was a great time.smw112 said:

j4patrice where do you live then i am leaving in the am to work in downers grove! yeah guys lets keep this page going with ride info! By the way my ride some of the stops will inclucde the Cross hear in Effingham then Moonshine witch is a very famous hamburger place in middle of no were it has been on the travel food show and the MVP it is a one of a kind bar kinda a famous place to you dont have to drink i would like for every to check it out to at least say they have been there. i will think about some other stop untill we find the date for the ride!
