I just applied ride on to my tires and wanted to know if someone else have it and what your experience has been with it... Especially if you have removed the wheel weights. I still have them on and would like to know if its safe to remove them...

I bought 3 tubes of it as it was marked down. When I had my Avon 240 installed I gave the shop 2 tubes to use in the rear tire. A couple of weeks later I got a nail in my Avon and when I had it patched at a different shop I discovered that the original shop didn't use the RideOn that i gave them....they used DynaBeads instead. When i confronted the shop about it they said they made a mistake and gave me the RideOn back so I still have the stuff sitting in the garage.

i think this came up in a thread earlier and I'm pretty sure the basic conclusion was: It's your call brother, ya never know how ya like soemthing till ya try it out, I know there has been success with the Dyna Beads but they don't seal the tire, just balances it, I'd love to know if someone has had true success with these mydelf, I think the thread just kind of died with no clear cut conclusion

ahh skwerlee I was hoping you would answer that question for me I do remember the past thread... I just added it on this weekend and have been riding almost 100 miles on it, I haven't noticed any difference from before so I guess so far so good, but I didn't take the weights off of my wheels. Don't think I will anyway I just bought the product for the puncture protection mostly.

I use this, and haven't had any problems with it. Hard to say how well the puncture protection is working since I have not Intentionally ran over any nails, however, I have not had any flats or leaks either.
When I put new tires on, I'll use this product again. Better safe than sorry.

I have put about 5,000 miles on my new tires. I did not have the wheels balanced, I just used the Ride-On product. It seems to work very well with the balancing of the tires. Just used it as directed. So far so good...
