Ok i know some of you have a road 6 customs side mount. I called them and told them my axle bolt head was 22mm and they said that they wanted me to check what size the axle was because the mount could break from vibration if the hole was to big. So for those of you that have one from them what was the exact hole size they made for you? They said they could make whatever i needed but i want to be sure

I have my axle out right now working on my wheel. I can get some pictures of the axle if you need, but pretty straight forward.
When I put my side plate on I jacked up the bike to take the load off the tire. Pull the nut off the muffler side and pull the axle out. Just get the bike high enough to take the load off but not where as the tire drops down. Makes it easier to put the axle back in. I didn't even loosen my belt adjustments. If you do loosen them, take a measurement from the nut to the end of the stud. Helps putting it back for the correct tension.

Another thought is to cut a slot so as to slide it on the shaft instead of pulling the axle.
