About every second or two seconds, after warming up, my stryker has a little "miss" or loping while in idle. Runs great, only 750 miles. I am wondering - is this normal? I'm just used to my Vstar 1100 with it's solid idle, perhaps.

I had a similar problem last year, turned out to be where I was getting the gas from, the gas was ok in my car but not in the bike or my wifes truck. I have seen though where others have said the coil wire was a little loose.

Well based on the time stamp you posted this right at the start of the SuperBowl. So I imagine the forum was ghost town till today. But this is the first thread other than the coil issue mentioned above I have seen.

What you're describing at idle is completely normal. The Stryker is a single pin crank design. The uneven firing interval, bore & stroke dimensions, and special ignition & injection mapping all contribute to what you’re hearing. It’s especially noticeable once you ditch the stock pipes.

The only mods I have done would be the "8 hole exhaust" mod, and this was only done recently. the uneven idle has been happening since new. Perhaps skwerlee is right - it IS more noticeable after the exhaust was modded, so maybe I am just hearing it to a higher degree now.

I have Cobra Swepts, Auto tuner, and intake and it will do that sometimes during warming up. The bike has even died if I don't give it enough throttle.

I swear the cobra intake give the bike too much air and it can't handle it. You can trick the computer with the auto tuner, but you can't fool the MAF.

I filled up at a gas station that I don't normally fill at and the bike seemed to run rough after that even at highway speed. I filled up with better gas and put some seafoam in and that and that helped.

Mine will begin to drop "R's" and stutter slightly after initial start-up.
I Blip the throttle a couple times to clear it out and it will then idle all day just as smooth as Miko talking to a drunk blonde at a bar.

Go figure........higher octane means harder to burn. Only makes sense if you are having any issues with rough idles to at least attempt lower octane.
I know it isn't your issue. Hopefully the dealer can resolve the issue for you seeing the bike is so new. Maybe you got a bad tank of gas? You had some rain, maybe water in the fuel.

Another thought, have you checked the wires at the ignition coils under the tank? One on the left and right side. There are some posts on the forum about these connections not being tight from factory and causing some issues.
